| Dear Parents, I'd like to extend a huge thank you to all of you. What a roaring success!! So many of you have expressed your thanks and said what a fantastic time you had. It was a delight for me and the Ball team to hear. Almost 400 arrived into St Mark's square that evening and I’m sure had great fun playing the Hunt the Masked Man and the Lucky Mask games. Lucy Bull I believe won the masked man game and surprised her table with a jeroboam of chilled champagne!! Henrietta Donovan did a marvellous job of feeding us all, no mean feat! During dinner I hope you all enjoyed Mr Robert Pound our cheeky magician for the evening. He was agog at all you beautiful women in mysterious masks. The Heads and tails followed and judging by the noise level in the marquee you all had a great time. Adrian Stevens took home another jeroboam of champagne and promised to have his entire table for dinner at home to share, very generous. As supper wound down the music got going, Sean the D.J. was busy playing all your requests. Well done to the teachers' table for getting up to dance so quickly. The drinks flowed and the chatter continued until the early hours. I had a look at the photos of you all on the evening and have to say ladies you all look fabulous and the gents, very dapper. If you did not collect your photo on the evening and want to, they are in the office at school to browse and purchase. Once again only you can make a success of the evening and I’m delighted to say you all came out in great spirits. Thanks once again to all the team that helped pre, during and particularly post, I could not do it without you. Thank you all once again Sharron Manley x |
