Chairman's Message

Dear Parents

As we approach half term, and hopefully more sunshine, I wanted to update you on our progress this term, and what we have planned for next.

The Junior School once again enjoyed a fun filled Lego activity day, sponsored by the NBPA. The Middle School have an activity day, arranged by Miss Reid on 2 July, and we are purchasing an outdoor table tennis table for the Senior School boys.

We are hoping that the early summer sunshine will continue for the Junior School BBQ on Friday 18th June 5-7pm. Your Class Reps will be sending you more information about this event after half term.

Our most important event next term is the school fete on Saturday July 10th 2-4.30pm. An enormous amount of work goes into this event and I wanted to thank all parents in advance for their help and support. We are particularly keen to receive any prizes appropriate for the Adult and Children’s raffle.

Our main fundraising goal is the purchase of a new school mini bus, and we are delighted to have made our first contribution of £5000 towards this.

Helen Glaister, our merchandising supremo , has been very busy adding an array of products to her stable. They can all be viewed through the merchandising link on the website. She has also been working closely with staff and Karen Pearl to produce a new comprehensive uniform list. Many Thanks.

Once again, if you have not already done so, I urge you to register with our shopping portal at www.easyfundraising.org.uk/nbpa or through the shopping link on this site.

Finally the NBPA would like to congratulate the Eco Committee for their very well deserved Green Flag Status. In support of our eco goals the NBPA are providing an extra 4 wheelie bins for events such as the fete.

Wishing you a very happy, sun filled half term.

Janine Kibblewhite
