‘New TRAID clothing bank!
(Located in the car park behind the swimming pool)

Not only is it an easy way to recycle your old clothes and shoes, the school also benefits:

 Association with a fantastic charity!

 A free traditional crafts session run by TRAID for our pupils.

 We get 30 pence per kilogram (£300 per tonne) for all clothes and pairs of shoes
collected through our clothing bank! This money will be put towards a new green house.

 It will help towards our ‘Eco-Schools’ status.

 We get regular updates telling us how much the school has diverted from landfill and the CO2 saved.

Please ensure all shoes are in pairs and both clothes and shoes are deposited in sealed bags.

Supermarket vouchers:

As we did last year, the NBPA have decided to donate any supermarket vouchers collected by parents at the school to the Valence School in Westerham.

Collection boxes will be in the main school office and also in the Pre-prep central area.
Sports Hall Storm Shelter:
During the summer 2008 break, work was completed on the construction of a storm shelter outside the Sports Hall. If the summer weather is anything to go by, the shelter will get lots of use over the coming terms!
Music Block Storm Shelter:

In view of the positive reaction to the Sports Hall storm shelter, the NBPA has agreed to fund a similar storm shelter outside the Music Block. This will benefit boys in years 3, 4, 7, and 8 at pick up and all boys at other times throughout the day.
