The boys in the Pre Prep enjoyed a variety of activities on Tuesday 5 February, to mark the beginning of the Year of the Pig. The boys made lanterns, pig masks, Chinese zodiac wheels, and also made dumplings. Many parents came in to help with the activities, and also to share facts, stories and dancing. The boys were all given a red envelope to take home, filled with goodies. A huge thank you to the parents who came in to help. The boys, and staff, had a lovely afternoon!
The Boys in the Pre Prep and Junior School learnt about China, and the history of Chinese New Year. 3AH also did Chinese animal tangrams in class and 4RT made some paper Chinese dragons.
The whole school was also treated to a feast for lunch. The boys enjoyed eating chicken chow mein, lychees and prawn crackers.
