The NSPCC recently visited the school to deliver Speak out Stay Safe assemblies to Pre-Prep and Junior School boys, as well as a workshop for Years 5 and 6. With the help of their friendly mascot Buddy, the charity shared information with the boys about how they can keep themselves safe from harm and get help if they have any worries. They also talked about the valuable work the NSPCC does across the country and how important it is for everyone in our school community to ‘fight for every childhood’.
To support the NSPCC, all Pre-Prep and Junior school boys took part in an exciting fundrasing event last week to raise money for the charity. The boys had a great time dancing for a few minutes every hour in a Dance-a-Thon and our Street Dance teacher even taught them a few new moves! Well done to the boys for such enthusiasm and fantastic dancing and thank you to all their families for sponsoring them and supporting the NSPCC’s work. Every boy who took part received a special Buddy badge.
