As the clock struck 9:00am on Thursday 12th September, 16 Year 6 candidates nervously entered the Library to sit their 11+ examination – a culmination of many hard months of preparation.

The papers consisted of Maths and English, Verbal, Non-Verbal and Spatial Reasoning, with the final test a piece of creative writing. By lunchtime the boys were relieved to have completed all sections of the test without hiccup – in fact all of them seemed to take it all in their stride and with an air of calm throughout.

We of course wish them every success, and we all eagerly await the results of their hard work which will be known in October. Good luck, boys!
