Message from Lizzy:

As you can imagine I am truly humbled. Not only does it come as unexpected but it is amazing to be sharing a platform with so many other great achievers and of course it is great to be able to shine a light on The Hygiene Bank and just how far we have come over the last 12 months.

There are many people to thank for what they have done, to provide support, donate goods, volunteer and guide and govern the charity.  I have been blown away by the power of the communities that have galvanised themselves to do things for others and to try to make a difference.  But I cannot let this occasion pass without also saying a sincere thank you to The New Beacon staff and parents who have supported us right from the very beginning.

It is an extremely pivotal time for The Hygiene Bank and during the forthcoming months I will be tasking the Trustee Board and our Volunteers to develop plans and actions to ensure that we remain at the forefront of minds and create a sustainable financial model so we can continue with the good work and to also think of new ways to engage with the communities and sponsors who may help drive this agenda.  I would be very interested to hear from anyone who would like to share their ideas with us. As you know we are a fledgling charity and we are very well aware that we need to reach out to good people for ideas and suggestions that may help.
