On Tuesday this week the boys in years 5-8 ‘enjoyed’ a morning workout lead by three members of team GB Judo. The session was lead by Gemma Howell (London 2012 Olympian), Lucy Renshall (Tokyo 2021 hopeful) and Jemima Yeats-Brown (Commonwealth Games medallist). They put the boys through their paces with a 30 minute session including a warm up and a cool down. The session included planking, burpees, lunges and other ‘fun’ things! The boys seemed quite worn out afterwards but had the energy left to ask some interesting questions. One asked the best thing about judo, to which all three replied ‘winning’! It was lovely to see over 140 boys and some parents and siblings joining in.
