The Independent Schools Cultural Alliance are providing residential summer courses for Year 7 & 8 pupils. This will focus on bringing their KS3 History Curriculum to life by visiting some of the most historic and cultural sights in southern England. In August they will be offering a one-week residential summer camp at Charterhouse School, and thought that this may be of interest to families at The New Beacon.
The ISCA have our own teachers working on the programme with a ratio of 1 teacher for every 5 pupils and they visit up to 15 sights of historic and cultural interest, encouraging learning through discovery.
During the Easter holidays they will be running a number of Zoom presentations to allow prospective families an opportunity to meet the ISCA team and find out more about the programme.
