We have arranged a class trip to Castle Farm, Shoreham on Friday, 24th September. The farm has very high standards of safety and hygiene and we know that everything will be done to ensure the boys have an enjoyable and safe visit. Do feel free to look at their website Castle Farm if you would like to know more about it.

The plan is to go apple picking with the boys which links nicely to our Harvest Festival and Autumn topic.

We shall be leaving school at 10.00am so will be returning to school for 1pm. We ask that you provide your son with a packed lunch.

We do hope the weather will be kind to us but, in any event, the boys will wear wellies while at the farm (these should already be in school). If the weather forecast is for rain/showers, we will take a view on whether we go or not. If the forecast is for sun, please see your son has sun cream applied before he comes to school and we will take the boys’ school sun hats with us.

Kindly complete the online permission slip by Monday 20th September. The cost of the trip will be approximately £2.00, depending on the weight of the 5 apples which they will pick and bring home with them to share with you.
