Middle & Senior School Only

The Middle and Senior School Carol Service will take place in the Tonbridge School Chapel. It will commence at 7.30pm and the congregation (inclusive of boys) will need to be seated in the Chapel by 7.15pm at the very latest. Separate arrangements are in place for the Chapel Choir, the Readers, Chapel Wardens and instrumentalists as follows:
The Senior Chapel Choir and instrumentalists are to meet in the Chapel at 6.00pm
The Chapel Wardens, Head Boys and Readers are to meet in the Chapel at 6.45pm
There is parking available around the Tonbridge School Sports Centre. You may also use the local pay and display car parks situated in Bordyke Road, at Tonbridge Castle and at the Tonbridge Swimming Pool. They are all a comparable distance to the walk from the School’s Sports Centre car park. Further parking is also available at Sainsbury’s and Waitrose car parks. You will need to allow approximately 20 minutes for the walk to the Chapel should you make the decision to park at these sites.
Please note that all boys in the Middle and Senior School will be expected to attend the Carol Service.
The Carol Service should end by 8.30 p.m. and you should collect your son from the Chapel entrance, should you not be in attendance at the service. Boys should sign out with a member of staff, ideally their Form Teacher.

All parents and boys attending the Carol Service must please do a LFT on the morning of the 7 December. In accordance with the Tonbridge School Covid Policy, all parents, and boys in Year 7 and 8 must also wear a face mask.

|Carol Service Rehearsal for Chapel Choir Members:
If your son is involved in the Carol Service rehearsal as part of the Chapel Choir at the St Augustine Chapel at Tonbridge School on Tuesday, 7 December, you may, if you wish, collect him direct from outside the Chapel at 1.00pm. Please ensure that Mrs Piercy is aware of your son leaving. If not, then he will travel back on the school bus to the New Beacon and you can collect him at the normal end of school time.
