What a great hockey season the under 11 has had. They definitely exceeded our expectations and have made us incredibly proud with their achievements this season: three different coloured medals in three different tournaments, as they were crowned UKSA champions last week.

The icing on the cake was when they finished Wednesday’s IAPS National finals tournament in the top eight teams in the country.

After qualifying for the National finals, which took place at Repton School in Derbyshire, the boys did amazingly well in the group stage with three fantastic wins and one defeat to top their group with nine points.

The boys then progressed to the Cup competition, where they faced Solihull in the quarterfinals. Sadly, they lost in extra time by the golden goal after drawing 1-1 in normal time. The boys played some outstanding hockey, worked hard as a team and scored 7 brilliant goals. A special mention must go to our top scorer, Josh M, who scored 6 goals. Well done boys and keep the good work up.
