We are very excited to tell you that we have arranged a trip to Romshed Farm, Underriver on Friday, 28 April. The farm has very high standards of safety and hygiene and we have visited there many times.  Do feel free to look at their website – Romshed Farm, if you would like to know more about it.

We will be travelling to the farm via the school minibuses and plan to leave school at 9.30am and will return before 3pm.  Please can you provide a packed lunch, and the school will provide a special snack for our visit.  Please can you put the packed lunch in a named plastic box / bag.

We do hope the weather will be kind to us but, in any event, the boys will wear wellies while at the farm (these should already be in school).  If the weather forecast is for rain/showers, we will also take our school waterproofs.  If the forecast is for sun, please see your son has sun cream applied before he comes to school and we will take the boys’ school sun hats with us.

Kindly complete the permission slip below by Wednesday, 26 April. The cost of the trip is £3.50 per boy and will be added to your school bill.

Romshed Farm is a host farmer for the ‘The Country Trust’, which helps disadvantaged children to learn and grow through hands-on day visits to real working farms. They rely on donations to keep their good work going and this has been included in the costings for the trip.
