LET’S SEE WHAT WE HAVE BEEN UP TO THIS WEEK!
Reception Looking Smart
To learn about fizzing colours, we used baking soda, white vinegar, and food colouring!
During our Write Dance session, we used our whole bodies to mix paint on a large scale in time to classical music. Children were excited to find the new colours and shades they had made but were also very calm while listening to the music! Please see the videos below.
Children enjoyed using miniature real bricks to build their own walls, children experimented with balancing their bricks.
Children in Nursery are working really hard to learn how to sign “I can sing a Rainbow”
We really enjoyed using the salad spinner to create some wonderful art, this also helped us to build strong muscles.
The children were really interested in learning what a ruler is used for. We learned how to measure items and also practised how to hold the ruler with one hand while using the other to hold a pen or pencil to draw a straight line.
Gems in treasure box
who doesn’t love opening a treasure box just to discover lots of magical gems inside!!
