My Voice Matters was the theme for Children’s Mental Health Week this year. The aim of this week is about empowering children and young people by providing them with the tools they need to express themselves. During Children’s Mental Health Week, we want all children and young people to be able to say – and believe – “My Voice Matters.” To start Children’s Mental Health Awareness Week off with a fun activity, the boys in the Pre-Prep and Junior School were given the challenge to find their balloon. It was a lot of fun, but not successful. They were then asked to help others find their balloon, and the task was achieved! “These balloons are like happiness. We will never find it if everyone is looking for their own. But if we care about other people’s happiness, we’ll find ours too”. A video can be found here.
