This week we have seen Year 6 swashing those buckles and shivering their timbers – this year’s production of Treasure Island Adventure was a tale of blood and gold, dark-hearted scoundrels and rum-soaked villains sure to chill the marrow of many an honest bilge rat. All the boys of Year 6 took us on an adventure across the high seas singing their way to buried treasure. From touching solos and high-spirited ensemble pieces, through dramatic speeches and plenty of comic moments, the audience were entertained at both performances this week. All the boys put in a huge effort learning lines and song words, or helping with props and stage technology – well done to everyone involved.

We are also very grateful to the parents who gave invaluable assistance to the costumes, make-up and props.
