The New Beacon Parents’ Association (‘NBPA’) is, as the name would suggest, an organisation made up of existing parents of the school. It has two main objectives: to raise money for school projects and to encourage a sense of community amongst all parents across the entire school. Welcome back! In particular welcome to new parents joining the school this term.  It is unfortunate that we will not be able to hold the traditional New Parents drinks but we hope you have made contact with your class rep and you are able to put names to faces before too long. If you are not sure who your rep is please click on the link below. If you have any questions regarding the NBPA please let us know (

2020/2021 Committee & Class Reps

You will, of course, understand that until the government guidelines are relaxed we will not be able to hold any events for parents at the school. We have been discussing ideas for alternatives and other fundraising options and if you have any suggestions please let us know. We are really hoping that we will be able to hold the Summer Ball next year and have pencilled in June 19th 2021 for this.

We will be holding the AGM and reps meeting via Zoom this term on Friday 9th October at 11am. All parents can attend the AGM but given the format this year it may be more practical to filter comments via the reps. Further details can be found here: NBPA 2020 AGM.

Without using too many cliches we are navigating the government advice while conscious that we need to raise valuable funds for the school so we welcome your ongoing support.

All the best
