Last Friday, we enjoyed an outstanding display of Rugby on the Fifty pitch, usually home to the Tonbridge School 1st XV Rugby team, between Sevenoaks Rugby Club and The New Beacon 1st XIII. With the score tied at 10 – 10 at half time we were in for a spectacular second half. With 20 seconds left The New Beacon jackled the ball and turned it over creating an overlap and scoring in the dying moment to win 25-20. Pierre E-T. was player of the match with co-captains Joe W. and Myles C. also outstanding throughout the match.
This was a lovely chance for our boys who are moving on next year to experience a night-time rugby.
Thank you to Tonbridge School for hosting and for Sevenoaks RFC for coming along and giving us such a superb game.
