Outstanding Performance from the U11 Rugby Team

On Saturday, The New Beacon U11 took to the field at Hawthorns with a slightly altered squad due to several players representing the school at the football nationals. This gave others the chance to step up, and they did so in impressive fashion.

Harry, Luke, and Ruan were exceptional in the forwards, carrying the ball powerfully throughout the day. Meanwhile, Arthur, Patrick, and Ayrton thrived in the backs, relentlessly pressuring the opposition’s backs and turning over the ball time and time again.

Easton was a standout, displaying real class as he switched between fly-half and full-back, constantly a threat and ghosting through defences with ease. Captain Ethan, at scrum-half, led the team superbly with his trademark 100% commitment—tackling ferociously and jackaling for fun.

The New Beacon won all six of their matches, a superb achievement made even more impressive by the fact they conceded just one try all day—a testament to their remarkable defensive work rate and discipline.

A fantastic effort from every player, marking an outstanding day for The New Beacon.
